The environment agency has been taking weekly sample of water from the Yorkshire coast beaches over  the summer of 2013, and all beaches passed the minimum standard with Whitby meeting the higher standard!

In 2014, this welcoming region of rugged moorlands, heritage homes and cosy pubs will be able to hold its head even higher when the Tour de France begins its grand départ from Leeds.

Parking 2014

There could be changes to the current parking arrangements on the streets of whitby from April 2014.

North Yorkshire County council is to build a park and ride for Whitby, this could lead to parking charges on the West cliff.

As we understand it the current proposals will allow guests unrestricted parking around us using a scratch card.

We now offer reserved parking in rooms 1 & 4 plus the suite, we will keep you posted.
