I’ve just spent another delightful three night break at Sandpiper House in Whitby with my husband. We’ve stayed here on many occasions as a couple and with our son. Peter and Manetta provide excellent service in their beautiful bed and breakfast. Decorated beautifully with luxurious and beautifully cleaned rooms Sandpiper House is the perfect place for a relaxing break. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is beautiful with lots of choice and always the best quality and locally sourced products where possible. Perfectly located for the town, beach and some lovely restaurants.If you want to stay somewhere that is comfortable with lots of little luxuries look no further. A must for anyone wishing to stay in Whitby. We’ll be booking gain very soon.

Just returned from a relaxing weekend in Whitby helped by the wonderful hospitality of Manetta and Peter. We stayed in the Suite which was very comfortable and well worth the price. Nothing was too much trouble and the hearty breakfast was a perfect start to the day. Living in a city we needed somewhere which would help us to relax and recharge the batteries. Sandpiper House certainly helped in every way. Won’t hesitate to book here again in the future.

We have just returned from a 2 night break at Sandpiper House and it was faultless. The friendly service from Peter and Manetta was outstanding. We stayed in the King Size room which was perfect, spotlessly clean and has luxurious toiletries. Situated in the centre of Whitby it is perfectly placed for everything. Peter was also kind enough to point out some good places to eat. We would not hesitate to recommend Sandpiper House and will most certainly return.

Myself and my husband spent 2 nights at the Sandpiper for a relaxing Whitby break. The b&b is perfectly situated for the town and sea front. Peter and Manetta were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the suite which was very comfortable, lovely decor and a gorgeous bathroom, complete with toiletries and bath robes. A very satisfying breakfast set us up for a 8 mile coastal walk on the Cleveland Way! The beautiful sunny weather made it a perfect break…..I would also recommend nearby restaurant dittos for dinner, lovely food and very attentive staff. This B&B definitely deserves its 5 stars.
