It has been highlighted to us that the reserved parking at the rear of the house is ideal for motor bikes, especially as it is out of sight of prying eyes. The parking area is hard standing and has security lights.

 

Heritage Diesel Gala

13^th – 15^th September 2013

This September marks the 30^th Anniversary of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway’s (NYMR) Heritage Diesel gala event with a weekend of intense diesel traction to tempt any petrol head.

Yorkshire has been voted the no1 travel destination in Europe, beating Berlin , Florence, Paris and Barcelona!

Please note the space will accomodate a small  Ford Fiesta sized car.

Whether you are a cyclist  or not you need to pencil in your diary the 5th & 6th of July 2014.

The Tour De France comes to Yorkshire, starting in Leeds on the 5th and moving to York on the 6th,

you may want to be a spectator or you may wish to avoid the areas totally due to traffic.

The annual Whitby Folk week is only one week away.

Events start on Saturday 17th. Check here for info and venues.

Dont forget its the regatta  this weekend 10-12th August, so things will be really busy.

No red arrows this year.

In its third year the Vintage fair will take place on the 20th and 21st of July at the Spa.

This year stalls will include art deco ceramics, 40’s to 60’s clothing and much more.
